About Us

Energy Center Services (ECS) is a human services agency serving the Tidewater, Virginia Area. We offer Psychosocial rehabilitation services to individuals 18-64 years of age. Energy Center Services is licensed by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health Services. On-site appointments are available.

Mission Statement: 

Energy Center's mission is to provide high quality mental health services to advance the availability and practices of mental health supports, substance abuse and recovery-oriented education and treatment to individuals with psychiatric disabilities or experiencing major life challenges.

This Psychosocial rehabilitation service provides education to teach the individual about mental illness, substance use, and appropriate medication. Our goal is present opportunities to learn and use independent living skills and to enhance social and interpersonal skills within a consistent program structure and environment. Furthermore, to assist individuals to avoid hospitalization, homelessness, complications and relapse.
